1974- भारत ने दक्षिण अफ्रीका की सरकार की रंगभेदी नीति का प्रतिरोध करने के लिए वहां जाकर डेविस कप में भाग लेने से इनकार कर दिया |
1977- भारत के विदेश मंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा की बैठक को हिंदी में संबोधित किया. हिंदी में दिया गया यह पहला संबोधन था |
2006- जूलियन असांजे ने की स्थापना की |
2008- अमेरिका की विदेश मंत्री कोंडोलीजा राइस एक दिन के लिए भारत यात्रा पर रहीं |
2011- अमेरिका ने इस्लामिक स्टेट (आईएस) के मुखिया अबू बकर अल बगदादी को वैश्विक आतंकवादी के रूप में चिन्हित किया और साथ ही उस पर एक करोड़ डॉलर का इनाम भी रखा |
2011- अफगानिस्तान के राष्ट्रपति हामिद करजई की भारत यात्रा के दौरान भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह के साथ हुई बैठक में सामरिक मामले, खनिज संपदा की साझेदारी और तेल और गैस की खोज पर साझेदारी संबंधी तीन समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए |
2011- भारतीय राष्ट्रपति प्रतिभा पाटिल की यात्रा के दौरान भारत और स्विट्जरलैंड नेवित्तीय क्षेत्र में सहयोग के लिए द्विपक्षीय समझौता किया गया जिससे आयकर विभाग के बीच सहयोग बढ़ाने और स्विस बैंकों में भारतीयों के खातों का पता लगाने में मदद मिलेगी |
2011- मैक्सिको के राष्ट्रीय मानव विज्ञान एवं इतिहास संस्थान ने उत्तर में स्थित डुरांगो प्रांत से प्राप्त मानवीय अस्थियों के आधार पर दावा किया है कि प्राचीन समय में यहां के आदिवासी नरभक्षी थे |
