यार्णवेऽधिसलिलमग्र आसीद्यां मायाभिरन्वचरन् मनीषिणः।
यस्यां ह्रदयं परमे व्योमन्त्सत्येनावृतममृतं पृथिव्याः।
सा नो भूमिस्त्विषिं बलं राष्ट्रे दधातूत्तमे।।८।।

यह भूमि समुद्र के गर्भ से विकसित हुई, अजर, अमर, परम रक्षक आकाश की भांति व्यापक परमेश्वर की शक्ति से ढकी हुई और इसकी संस्कृति सत्य से आच्छादित और सभ्यता मानवता से अभिभूत है।
बुद्धिमान् लोगों ने अपनी कौशल युक्त बुद्धियों एवं नीतियों से इसका उपयोग किया, जिससे उनके जन, बल और धन का विस्तार हुआ एवं उन्हें ख्याति की प्राप्ति हुई।

This land developed from the womb of the ocean and is covered with the power of the immortal, supreme protector God. Its culture is covered with truth and its civilization is overwhelmed with humanity. Intelligent people used it with their skillful wisdom and policies, due to which their human resource, strength and wealth expanded and they gained fame.
