पूर्वः पूर्वो यजमानो वनीयान्।

(ऋ.५.७७.२)

जो मनुष्य सर्व प्रथम यानि सभी कर्मों से पूर्व यज्ञ अर्थात परोपकार करने वाला होता हैं वहीं श्रेष्ठ, आदरणीय एवं वरणीय होता है।

The person who performs Yajna first of all, i.e. before all other deeds, is considered as the best and the most respectable one amongst all.
